Cameroon's National Football Team
The Cameroon national football team, nicknamed Lions Indomptables (Indomitable Lions), is the national team of Cameroon and is controlled by the Fédération Camerounaise de Football. It was the first African team to reach the quarterfinals of the World Cup, which it did in 1990, losing to England in extra time. In the opener of that tournament, Cameroon pulled one of the biggest upsets in world soccer history, beating champions Argentina 1-0. Cameroon won the African Nations Cup four times, and also won the gold medal at the 2000 Summer Olympics.

Togo's National Football Team
The Togolese team will enter the World Cup for the first time in its history in Germany 2006. Out of only four participations in the African Cup of Nations Togo never made it past round one. Now that they are participating in the world's most prestigious football event, can The Hawks prove that they are worthy of qualifying to the world cup and show that a new power in African football has emerged; or will the Togolese team simply regard this tournament as a training exercise for Germany?

Congo DR's National Football Team
The Democratic Republic of Congo, Congo DR, was previously known as Zaire. The team won two African Nations Cups: one as Congo DR (or Congo-Kinshasa) in 1968 and one as Zaire in 1974. They also qualified to the World Cup in 1974 as Zaire; in that tournament they made the worst margin in World Cup history loosing 9-0 to Yugoslavia. In 2006 the national team of Congo DR will make its World Cup debut. Will The Simbas make a show worthy for a World Cup qualifier?
