International Cooperation Minister Sahar Nasr received a delegation from the Export-Import Bank of South Korea and discussed projects to be carried out in Egypt.
The projects that worth USD 3bn will be implemented with the help of Korean expertise.
Nasr welcomed the Korean delegation, stressing the strong economic relations binding the two countries. She said that the meeting comes within the framework of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi's recent meeting with representatives of South Korean businessmen.
The minister reviewed with the Korean delegation a number of projects of top priority for the Egyptian government especially those in the fields of renewable energy, electricity, sewage and water treatment and desalination.
The two sides agreed on dispatching Korean technical missions to Egypt in June to study all issues pertaining to the implementation of the projects.
