Prime Minister Sherif Ismail said Saturday 04/06/2016 his government intends to complete all suspended projects across Egypt.
This should help restart those projects, which in turn will help improve services offered to citizens, Ismail said as he inspected a number of projects in Gharbiya governorate.
The government will act to extend drinking water to 50 percent of Egyptian villages within the coming two years, the premier pledged.
Ismail visited the drinking water and wastewater treatment plants in Mahalet Mesayar village and listened to an explanation about the project, which is being implemented in two phases.
He is also scheduled to visit the city of Tanta to inspect the medical complex there. He will also inaugurate a "Welcome Ramadan" exhibition and a housing project.
Later in the day, the premier will meet with Gharbiya officials and MPs to review needs of the governorate.
