President Abdel Fattah El Sisi reviewed at a meeting with Prime Minister Sherif Ismail and Chairman of the General Authority for the Suez Canal Economic Zone (SCZone) Ahmed Darwish on Thursday 16/06/2016 the projects being implemented in the Suez Canal Economic Zone, presidential spokesman Alaa Youssef said.

During the meeting Darwish expounded the most important projects being implemented in the special economic zone.

The whole zone spans 450 square kilometers, and include six ports, which proves its significant investment potentials in various fields.

Sisi stressed the importance of accelerating the pace of carrying out the projects in the economic zone, especially the infrastructure and road networks, to make the special zone an attractive hub for investments.
