Egypt, Algeria FMs hold talks on sidelines of AU meetings

Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry had talks with his Algerian counterpart Ramtane Lamamra on topics placed on the agenda of the coming African Union summit set for in Rwanda.
The talks took up the situation in Libya and the Syrian crisis, Foreign Ministry Spokesman Ahmed Abu Zeid said. They also discussed proposals to rationalize the AU budget and reform the body's mechanisms. Egypt and Algeria are among the largest contributors to the AU budget.
