First Kafr El-Sheikh Youth Conference kicks off

The first Kafr el-Sheikh Youth Conference kicked off in Kafr el-Sheikh Governorate on Saturday 3/2/2017. It was attended by several ministers and governors.
The conference is taking up over three days important topics including the future of investment in the governorate, upgrading its health care and educational services, improving the agricultural system and livestock and activating youth political participation along with empowering women and the renewal of religious discourse.
Attending the conference are the ministers of local development, investment, irrigation and water resources and higher education along with the governors of Alexandria, Beheira, Sharqiya, Ismailia and Gharbiya together with the chairman of al-Wafd political party.
The conference adopted a number of recommendations including the establishment of international shipyard in old Borollos port. The project will provide up to 15,000 job opportunities.
Also, they conference urged establishing a tourist investment zone in northern Kafr el-Sheikh. It will provide 250 jobs. The participants called for developing Borollos Lake and fish farms and setting up a hotel and tourist resort in the governorate.
