During March 2018, Arab and African Youth Platform launched in Aswan during the period 16-19 March 2019, under the auspices of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi.

On the other hand, President Abdel Fattah El Sisi left for Tunisia to take part in the 30th regular Arab Summit.

In addition, President Sisi received Jordanian King Abdullah II, Bulgarian President Rumen Radev, in addition to a number of foreign officials to strengthen bilateral relations at all levels.

March 2: President Abdel Fattah El Sisi was briefed by Prime Minister Moustafa Madboli on the health condition of those wounded in the Cairo train accident. He also followed up the latest developments of investigations into this incident which left scores dead and injured.


March 4: During a meeting with Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli and the ministers of planning and local development, in addition to the governor of Damietta, President Abdel Fattah El Sisi ordered making the utmost use of foreign investments in Damietta Furniture City in order to be Egypt's export gate of furniture to the Arab and African markets. March 7: President Abdel Fattah El Sisi held a meeting with Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouli and Petroleum Minister Tarek El Molla on future axes of petroleum sector and the unprecedented accomplishments achieved by the sector over the past period. More

March 7: During a meeting with Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouli and Education Minister Tarek Shawqi, President Abdel Fattah El Sisi ordered to continue in carrying out education development, as a main pillar of the national plan to invest in human development and wellbeing. More

March 11: Lieutenant General  Kamel el Wazir took the constitutional oath before President Abdel Fattah El Sisi as the country's new transport minister. After that President Sisi held meeting with Prime Minister Moustafa Madboli and newly-appointed Transport Minister Kamel el Wazir and stressed the importance of upgrading railway safety measures and using modern electronic systems in this vital sector.

March 20: In a meeting with Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli and Public Business Sector Minister Hisham Tawfiq, President Abdel Fattah El Sisi ordered proceeding with efforts of developing the companies of the public business sector in accordance to the set timetables, given the sector's importance in achieving the comprehensive development process.

March 21: President Abdel Fattah El Sisi ordered the government to withdraw its challenge against the ruling of the Supreme Administrative Court on pension allowances. More

March 3: During his meeting with Prefect of the Congregation for the Oriental Churches Cardinal Leonardo Sandri in Cairo, President Abdel Fattah El Sisi voiced Egypt's keenness on promoting the values of co-existence and freedom of religion among all Egyptians. More

March 3: During his meeting with a Kenyan delegation led by Kenya's Foreign Affairs Cabinet Secretary Monica Juma, President Abdel Fattah El Sisi said that gypt is keen on maximizing the benefits of coordination and consultation with Kenya, and its leader in person, under Egypt's chairmanship of the African Union (AU). March 3: President Abdel Fattah El Sisi met with chairman of the Global Energy Interconnection Development and Cooperation Organization (GEIDCO) Liu Zhenya to discuss African efforts to obtain clean energy from renewable resources. More


March 11: During his meeting with the Chairman of the Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO) Hiroyuki Ishige, President Abdel Fattah El Sisi stressed that Egypt looks forward to promoting economic and commercial relations with Japan via the promising investment opportunities of the Egyptian market in various sectors. March 12: President Abdel Fattah El Sisi received Norwegian Foreign Minister Ine Marie Eriksen Søreide. The meeting took up an exchange of views on the recent developments in the Palestinian issue. More

March 13: During a meeting with a delegation of the National Pre-Transitional Committee (NPTC) which is tasked with the oversight and coordination of the implementation of the activities of the pre-transitional period in South Sudan, President Abdel Fattah El Sisi stressed Egypt's keenness on supporting efforts to restore peace and stability in South Sundan as soon as possible. March 23: President Abdel Fattah El Sisi received executive director of the World Food Program (WFP) David Beasley. The meeting aims to discuss means of promoting partnership between Cairo and the WFP, in addition to the UN program's various activities in Egypt.


March 23: In a press conference with Iraqi Prime Minister Adel Abdul Mahdi, currently on his first visit to Egypt since he assumed the post, President Abdel Fattah El Sisi expressed Egypt's keenness on bolstering ties with Iraq in all domains.


March 25: During a meeting with the World Tourism Organization Secretary General Zurab Pololikashvili, President Abdel Fattah El Sisi asserted Egypt's keenness on enhancing cooperation and coordination with the Organization to promote for tourism as being one of the vital pillars of the Egyptian economy. March 25: During a meeting with Swiss Foreign Minister Ignazio Cassisin, President Abdel Fattah El Sisi has expressed Egypt's keenness on promoting relations with Switzerland in various domains, along with consultations over regional and international issues of mutual concern.

March 25: President Abdel Fattah El Sisi met Chinese Minister of Defense Wei Fenghe and emphasized Egypt's support for the Chinese Belt and Road Initiative, which helps promote trade and economic relations among Asian, European, African and Middle Eastern countries.
