Tourism minister meets Slovakia, Greece counterparts

Tourism Minister Rania El Mashat on Wednesday held meetings with her counterparts of Slovenia, Greece, St. Louis and Puerto Rico to promote Egyptian tourism.
The meeting was held on the sidelines of Mashat’s participation in the 19th World Travel & Tourism Council (WTTC) Global Summit 2019, hosted by the Spanish city of Seville on April 2-4.
She discussed means to improve tourism cooperation between Egypt and the two countries.
Mashat had interviews with Forbes and ABC de Sevilla magazines as well as Travel Weekly TV channel, highlighting the increasing numbers of tourists visiting Egypt.
The minister underscored that Egypt has been selected as one of the best tourism destinations in 2019.
She added that the Ministry of Tourism has developed a vision to improve the tourism sector in Egypt under the sustainable development goals adopted by the UN.
