Minister: Army personnel continues to stand against any infringement of Egypt's national security

Minister of Defense and Military Production General Mohamed Zaki asserted that the army personnel would continue to firmly stand against any attempts that aim at infringing Egypt's national security.
The minister's remarks came during an Iftar banquet with elements and commanders of the Western Military Zone.
At the start of the event, Commander of the Western Military Zone extended thanks to the Armed Forces General Command on its continued efforts to support the Western Military Zone in carrying out their duties with high quality standards.
He also highlighted the successes of the Western Military Zone to protect Egypt's western gates, combat illegal immigration and maintain the state's security and territorial integrity.
Meanwhile, General Zaki observed a minute of silence to mourn the martyrs of the nation who sacrificed their lives to defend Egypt's security and safety.
He also conveyed the greetings of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi to elements of the Western Military Zone over their sacrifices to maintain the nation's security and stability.
General Zaki also asserted that the army personnel would continue to secure and protect their homeland against any dangers and stand against any challenges.
He honored a number of distinguished fighters of the Western Military Zone in appreciation of their dedication in carrying out their missions.
