Assistant FM: Egypt keen on cementing ties with UK

Egypt's assistant foreign minister for European affairs Amr Ramadan said on Sunday 15/9/2019 that Egypt is keen to develop and strengthen ties with the United Kingdom in the coming period.
He met with UK's Minister for the Middle East and North Africa and Minister of State for International Development Andrew Murrison, who is paying a visit to Cairo to boost bilateral relations in all fields.
Ramadan highlighted the positive results of recent meeting between President Abdel Fattah El Sisi and UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson on the sidelines of the recent G7 summit in France.
For his part, Murrison hailed good ties between Egypt and the UK.
