1.2 tons of Egyptian medical supplies delivered to Chad

An Egyptian shipment of 1.2 tons of medical supplies arrived Tuesday in Chad, Health Ministry Spokesman Khaled Megahed said.
An Egyptian medical team has also arrived in the African country to train Chadian cadres on Hepatitis C virus (HCV) screening and treatment methods, Heath and Population Minister Hala Zayed said.
The team's visit will last for one month, Megahed noted.
He added that an HCV treatment clinic will be opened for Chadian citizens as of Wednesday at the central hospital in N'Djamena under the slogan "Long Live Egypt, Africa"
This move is part of a presidential initiative to treat 1 million African citizens from Hepatitis C virus.
