Abdel Dayem:Creative industries develop national economy

Dr. Enas Abdel Dayem, Minister of Culture, represents Egypt as the only Arab country in “The Entertainment Industry Conference” organized by The General Authority for Entertainment in Saudi Arabia.
The ceremony was attended by an array of ministers and senior men in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia .
Abdel Dayem said that the political leadership has included seven axes to preserve the Egyptian cultural identity within the strategy of sustainable development -"Vision Egypt 2030", including:- the promotion of positive values in the battle of combating intellectual extremism, achieving cultural justice, developing the talented and genius people, emphasizing cultural leadership through Egypt's soft power and developing cultural institutions.
This came as a result of the country's belief in the importance of cultural investment as a source of strength for development.
It is noteworthy that the conference discussed the importance of creative industries in the vision of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia- 2030 that is similar to the strategy of sustainable development in Egypt 2030, which put the culture industry within the components of the national economy, stressing the importance of partnership and cultural cooperation between Egypt and Saudi Arabia.
The partners have discussed the possibility of linking cultural exchange activities, especially in the economic field.
