IMF mission chief arrives in Cairo for talks on $12bn loan

The International Monetary Fund (IMF) mission chief for Egypt and Advisor in the Middle East and Central Asia Department, Chris Jarvis, arrived in Cairo on Saturday 30/7/2016 coming from Washington for talks with the Egyptian government on a 12-billion-dollar loan.
The IMF mission will start talks within a few hours with top officials at the Ministry of Finance and the Central Bank of Egypt on the loan. Jarvis will stay in Egypt for two weeks for the loan talks.
