Egyptian volley national selection won the African Championship in Cairo winning over Tunisia.

African Championship for Clubs

Army Tala'e Club won the African Championship for Clubs after beating the Tunisian Espérance Sportive de Tunis 3-1 and got the qualification card for the Clubs World Cup.
