6th anniversary of 25th January Revolution

Six years ago Egypt’s dream of change came true, after 18 days (25 Jan. – 11 Feb 2011) Egypt entered a new phase titled “Victory of people’s will”. 

The introduction of 2014 constitution have confirmed that the Jan 25 and June 30 revolutions are unique with their high density of popular participation - estimated to be in the tens of millions - and the prominent role of youth aspiring a brighter future.

After 6 years the political and security situation have become more stable after the roadmap was announced on 3rd July, 2013 and has been completed after approving the constitution in 2014, holding Presidential elections in June 2014 and holding the parliament’s first session in January 2016.

Although the Middle East region goes through a status of unrest and instability and Egypt faces great challenges but the political, economic and cultural development are on the go. On the other side, Egypt continues its intensive diplomatic moves at the regional and international levels to preserve its national interests and promote its partnerships with all countries to serve its constructive and developmental issues.
