U 19 Basketball World Cup

Egypt hosts the U19 Basketball World Cup on July 1-9 under the auspices of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi.
The games of the tournament will take place at Cairo International Stadium Indoor Halls Complex.
Sixteen countries will take part in the championship, namely Egypt, Angola, Mali, the United States, Canada, Brazil, Puerto Rico, Iran, Japan, Korea, France, Lithuania, Italy, Germany, Spain and New Zealand.
Minister of Youth and Sports Khaled Abdel Aziz said that hosting Arab, African and international tournaments in Egypt promotes tourism and affirms the country's organizational capabilities.
President Abdel Fattah El Sisi attended the opening ceremony of the championship.
