A child is born with genetic characteristics, and then, he is merely a biological organism, but soon begins to absorb elements of the culture of his community through various contacts, and soon acquire habits, standards and language.

This means that the child is born twice, the first: a biological organic one and the second a cultural birth.

The culture of children is a branch of the cultures of society, but an independent and distinct entity. The language of the children, their performance in play, their ways of expressing themselves and their various skills, their ways of imagining and thinking, their artistic output, the stories they narrate, the songs they sing, and the music they like, are different from those of adults.

The tendency of children to  simulate  drives them to imitate the stories they hear and people, animals, and voices, and there is a fact that says that children of this stage exercise their imaginary mental processes with their own hands, legs or their voices, so directing children towards acting, sports and motor games is necessary , Where the child a moving power, that is why modern education was concerned with the issue of children, as some have called this stage of childhood "play phase."

Ancient Egypt is still alive in our modern society, especially in the popular and rural spheres.

The ancients knew for each age the appropriate toys and games, and there are a lot of toys and dolls made by the ancient Egyptians of ivory wood, clay, stone or leather.

Many of the old games are still practiced in the countryside, such as:
