State Information Service establishes operation room for following up correspondents coverage of the "Senate" elections

Chairman of the State Information Service Diaa Rashwan, gave his directives to the general director of the press center for the foreign correspondents in Egypt to establish an operation room during the Senate elections at the headquarters of the press center in Maspero, through which all facilities are provided to the correspondents involved in covering the elections to do their job well.
About 564 reporters, representing 152 media organizations, have been renewed their registration. In addition, 11 new institutions were registered for the first time in the database of the National Elections Authority to monitor the electoral process inside and outside the committees.
The operation room will be responsible for solving any problem that foreign reporters and journalists may face, in coordination with the National Elections Authority and all other relevant authorities throughout the election days.
The press center staff will follow up the work of the reporters to ensure that all facilities are provided to face any obstacle. In addition, the staff will deliver permits to the foreign correspondences for the media coverage issued by the National Elections Authority.
