Egyptian-French summit kicks off at Élysée

 The Egyptian-French summit kicked off on Monday at the Élysée Palace with the participation of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi and his French counterpart Emmanuel Macron.

The summit is set to tackle ways of fostering bilateral ties in all fields and issues of common interest, including financing development in Africa and developments of the Middle East region, especially the Palestinian issue and combating terrorism and extremist thought.

Earlier, President Sisi arrived in the French capital to partake in a conference on Sudan and a Summit on Financing African Economies.
