Minister of Youth and Sports Ashraf Sobhy said innovation is very important and an effective means toward achievement of more development and progress on all fronts.

Sobhy's remarks came during the opening ceremony of the international, scientific conference for sports science on Saturday 23/10/2021.

The conference, which was held under the sponsorship of the Ministry of Youth and Sports, aims at deepening sports development by using artificial intelligence techniques in sports science.

The conference was attended by a galaxy of scholars, experts, academics and researchers in sports and related domains.

The event provided an opportunity for probing topics such as the future performance of sports institutions, movement science and artificial intelligence in the sports sector.

Sobhy said his ministry is adopting a special strategy for empowering youth in several fields in order to further achieve Egypt's strategy for sustainable development "Egypt Vision 2030."
