The festival, which lasts for three days, features six concerts, including a concert for veteran singer Ali el Haggar.
Tel Basta was the capital of the 18th region in ancient Egypt. Also known as Bubastis, the city was named after the ancient Egyptian goddess Bastet (the cat goddess).
