Egypt's Minister of Emigration and Expatriate Affairs Nabila Makram received Dr. Edita Volny, a Polish specialist in Egyptian cultural studies.
Volny was declared an ambassador for the ‘Etkallem Araby’ (‘Speak Arabic’) initiative in Poland, due to her efforts to teach foreigners the Arabic language and the Egyptian dialect.
In the same context, Makram reiterated the launch of a competition for Egyptian communities residing in Europe to compete for the highest rate of sharing and promoting a promotional advertisement on tourism in Egypt.
The initiative comes in cooperation with the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities as part of the “Speak Arabic” presidential initiative to introduce Egypt’s language, identity, achievements and history, as well as the No Place Like Egypt campaign launched by the two ministries in 2019.
