Egyptian-Saudi Air Drills “Faisal-12”

Joint Egyptian-Saudi air drills “Faisal-12” kicked off on Tuesday 31/5/2022 with the participation of units from the Egyptian Air Force and the Royal Saudi Air Force in Saudi Arabia.

The drills, that run for several days, include holding many combat activities and conducting attack and defensive sorties that engage units of the multi-role aircraft owned by both sides.
These drills come within the framework of efforts to foster distinguished relations and military cooperation between the Egyptian Armed Forces and their counterparts from the sisterly states as well as to get acquainted with the latest combat techniques. 

On 12/6/2022, Egypt and Saudi Arabia wrapped up “Faisal-12” air drills which saw the participation of units from the Egyptian Air Force and the Royal Saudi Air Force in Saudi Arabia.
In its final stage, the drills included carrying out combat activities and conducting attack and defensive sorties that engage units of the multi-role aircraft owned by both sides.
The exercise aimed at achieving the maximum benefit from the participating elements to implement and conduct joint air operations.
Participating units showed high-level of military professionalism, outstanding performance, as well as efficient cooperation and coordination to handle joint missions.
A number of top military brass from both countries attended the final stage of the drills, which kicked off on May 31.
