President Abdel Fattah El Sisi met Thursday 4/8/2022 with Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli and Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research and Acting Health Minister Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Presidential Spokesman Bassam Radi said.

The meeting was also attended by the presidential adviser for health and preventive health affairs Mohamed Awad Tageldin.

During the meeting, President El Sisi directed the State to pay part of fees of fresh students at national universities and to continue to offer full scholarships for outstanding students.

The meeting reviewed the executive status of several presidential initiatives in the health and higher education sectors, Radi added.

The President instructed to offer incentive packages for doctors and introduce a financial system that will help in raising their incomes and improving their work environment.

He also ordered to offer perks for doctors working in rare specialties and remote areas.

During the meeting, Sisi reviewed the latest developments concerning the COVID-19 vaccination program nationwide as well as other presidential health initiatives along with updates on achieved goals.
