Culture Minister Enas Abdel Dayem is set to open the 30th edition of the Citadel Festival for Music and Singing on Sunday.

The event, to be held on August 14-31, is organized by Cairo Opera House in cooperation with the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities.

The minister said the festival, which will feature 42 concerts, aims to attract the largest numbers of audience to raise cultural awareness.
