Meetings with government officials
On July2, 2022, President Abd El-Fattah El- Sisi met with Dr. Mustafa Madbouly, Prime Minister, Eng. Sherif Ismail, Assistant President for National and Strategic Projects, and a number of ministers and senior officials. The meeting discussed the executive position for the development of Manzalah Lake and its surrounding areas4°4.5°5During the meeting, the development of Manzala Lake was reviewed through several main axes, including environmental aspects, fisheries, maritime transport, tourism and the social and economic dimension. A number of projects were implemented in this regard.
On July 4, 2022, President Abd El-Fattah El-Sisi met with the Economic Ministerial Group. Dr. Mustafa Madbouly, Prime Minister, Mr. Tariq Amer, Governor of the Central Bank, Dr. Hala Al-Said, Minister of Planning and Economic Development, Dr. Rania Al-Mashat, Minister of International Cooperation, Dr. Muhammad Maait, Minister of Finance, Mr. Hisham Tawfiq, Minister of the Public Business Sector, Ms. Nevin Jamea, Minister of Trade and Industry, and Major General Abbas Kamel, Head of General Intelligence attended the meeting .
The meeting tackled the indicators of the state's financial performance during the fiscal year 2021/2022 .
On July 5, 2022, President Abd El-Fattah El-Sisi met with Dr. Muhammad Awad Taj El-Din, President's Adviser for Health and Prevention Affairs, and Dr. Hamdi Abd El-Azim, Professor of Oncology at the Faculty of Medicine, Cairo University.
On July 7, 2022, President Abd El-Fattah El-Sisi met with Major General Mahmoud Tawfiq, Minister of Interior.
President Abd El-Fattah El-Sisi met with Dr. Mustafa Madbouly, Prime Minister, Dr. Ali Al-Mussilhi, Minister of Supply and Internal Trade, Major General Mahmoud Tawfiq, Minister of Interior, Dr. Muhammad Maait, Minister of Finance, and Ms. Neven Al Qabbaj, Minister of Social Solidarity .The meeting addressed efforts to social protection measures in response to the repercussions of the current global economic crisis .
The official spokesman explained that Ms. Neven Kabbaj reviewed in this context the social programs currently provided by the state, the most important of which are support for bread, food commodities, medium cash support, support for health programs, insurance and pension funds, and housing support.
The official spokesperson added that the President also followed the current position of the stock of strategic basic goods, especially grains and oils .

The meeting discussed the executive position of the "Decent Life Initiative" projects for the development of the Egyptian countryside.
On July 30, 2022, President Abd El-Fattah El-Sisi met with Major General Walid Abu Al-Majd, Director General of the National Service Projects Agency, Major General Muhammad Salah, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the National Animal Production Company, Mr. Bashir Farid, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Jordanian Delta Company for Meat Production, and Muhammad Halawa, the businessman in the food and dairy industries .
The spokesman for the Presidency stated that the meeting dealt with a number of projects of the National Service at the level of the Republic.
On July 31, 2022, President Abd El-Fattah El-Sisi met with Major General Amir Sayed Ahmad, Adviser to the President of the Republic for Urban Planning, Major General Hisham al-Suwayfi, Chairman of the Engineering Authority of the Armed Forces, Major General Ahmad al-Azazi, Director of the Major Projects Department of the Engineering Authority of the Armed Forces, Major General Ashraf al-Arabi, Chairman of the Advisory Office of the Engineering Authority, and Brigadier General Abd El-Aziz al-Faqi, Assistant Chairman of the Engineering Authority for Road Designs .
The meeting dealt with the executive position of a number of projects of the Engineering Authority at the level of the Republic, especially in the sectors of roads, bridges, construction and architectural projects, as well as projects of the new administrative capital.
President's Field Tours
President Abdelfattah ElSisi inspected the construction work to develop a number of roads and axes in Greater Cairo. The tour included inspecting the progress of work on the development of the Mokattam Corniche, as well as the axes leading to the Moktam Plateau, which will quickly link them to the various neighborhoods of Cairo and allow the easy movement of citizens.

The President welcomed the Somali President, as an honored guest of Egypt. The president stressed Egypt's keenness to maintain the historical relations with Somalia, as well as supporting Somalia in dealing with the challenges it faces, foremost among which is the threat of extremist thought and terrorism. The president also indicated Egypt's readiness to continue to provide support to Somalia to build and consolidate state institutions, and activate various aspects of bilateral cooperation with Somalia, especially at the security, economic and commercial levels .
For his part, the Somali President expressed his sincere appreciation for the hospitality of the reception, stressing the keenness to develop cooperation with Egypt at various levels .
The official spokesman added that the talks touched on ways to strengthen various aspects of bilateral relations. The Somali President also reviewed the latest developments in the internal situation in Somalia and the steps being taken to restore security and stability in Somalia .
The meeting also discussed the latest regional developments of common interest, especially with regard to the Horn of Africa and the security of the Red Sea, as well as the issue of the Ethiopian Renaissance Dam. There was agreement to strengthen coordination and consultation to follow up these developments, in order to strengthen regional security and stability .

On July 5, 2022, President Abd El-Fattah El-Sisi received Dr. Sultan Al-Jaber, Minister of Industry and Advanced Technology of the United Arab Emirates, with the attendance of Dr. Muhammad Shaker, Minister of Electricity and Renewable Energy, Dr. Amr Talat, Minister of Communications and Information Technology, and Major General Abbas Kamel, Head of General Intelligence, as well as Mr. Khaldoun Al-Mubarak, Head of the Executive Affairs Agency of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi .
The official spokesman for the Presidency of the Republic stated that the meeting dealt with the promotion of cooperation between Egypt and the UAE in the investment sector, information technology, and energy and communications.
On July 24, 2022, President Abd El-Fattah El-Sisi received the Russian Minister for Foreign Affairs, with the attendance of the Russian Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs, the Russian Ambassador in Cairo, and the Deputy Director of the Middle East and North Africa Department of Foreign Affairs of Russia, and Egypt's Minister for Foreign Affairs .

Visit of the President of the Republic to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia
On July 16, 2022, President Abd El-Fattah El-Sisi went to Saudi Arabia to participate in the "Jeddah Summit", which gathered the leaders of Egypt, Iraq, Jordan, the GCC and the United States of America.

During the meeting, a number of files and regional issues were also discussed.
On July 16, 2022, President Abd El-Fattah El-Sisi met, in Jeddah, with His Highness Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Crown Prince of the State of Kuwait.
For his part, His Highness the Crown Prince of the State of Kuwait conveyed to the President the greetings of his brother, Sheikh Nawaf al-Sabah, affirming the appreciation that the State of Kuwait has for the leadership and people of Egypt.

President's Visit to Berlin
On July 17, 2022, President Abd El-Fattah El-Sisi went to the German city of Berlin, at the invitation of German Chancellor Olaf Schultz" to participate in the events of the "Pittsburgh Climate Dialogue" on 18 July, under the co-chairmanship of Egypt and Germany.
On July 18, 2022, President Abd El-F-attah ElSisi met, in Berlin, with Frank Steinmeier, President of the Federal Republic of Germany.
The President expressed his appreciation for the hospitality of the German reception, praising the extended Egyptian-German friendly relations, and the advanced level reached at various levels during the recent period. The president expressed Egypt's aspiration to deepen and strengthen these relations, especially at the economic and commercial levels by maximizing the size of German investments in Egypt, especially in light of the fact that Germany is one of the most important partners.

On July 18, 2022, President Abd El-Fattah El-Sisi met with German Chancellor Olaf Schultz in Berlin. The meeting addressed ways to strengthen bilateral cooperation between the two countries at various levels, especially cooperation in the field of liquefied natural gas, clean energy and green hydrogen, and the development of the basic education system in Egypt.
On July 19, President Abd El-Fattah El-Sisi received Analena Berbuk, the German Foreign Minister. The President affirmed Egypt's keenness to strengthen and deepen the extended strategic partnership with Germany, which represents an important pillar for maintaining security and stability in the Middle East region He also expressed his aspiration to maximize coordination and consultation with the German side during the coming period on various political, security and economic issues of common interest.
For her part, the German Foreign Minister welcomed the President's visit to Berlin, stressing that it will contribute to supporting the progress of relations between the two countries in a constructive and positive manner, especially in light of the German government's commitment to strengthening frameworks for joint cooperation with Egypt in various fields. She praised the President's efforts to combat terrorism and extremist as well as his efforts to achieve comprehensive and sustainable development in Egypt and the entire region.
The Spokesperson added that the meeting also discussed a number of regional and international issues of mutual interest, especially the developments of the situation in Ukraine and its negative economic repercussions at the global level, the developments of the Corona pandemic, and the phenomenon of climate change in light of the holding of the "Petersburg Dialogue" and Egypt's expected hosting of the World Climate Summit in November of this year.
President's visit to Serbia
On Tuesday July 19, 2022, President Abd El- Fattah El-Sisi left the German capital, Berlin, heading to Belgrade.
Upon his arrival in the Serbian capital, the President was received at the airport by Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić, senior Serbian statesmen and members of the Egyptian Embassy in Belgrade.
President El-Sisi’s visit will witness intensive talks with the Serbian President to explore mechanisms to enhance political and economic relations between the two countries and discuss ways to cooperate and coordinate at the regional and international levels.
President El-Sisi Holds Summit Talks with the President of Serbia in Belgrade
President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi held summit talks in Belgrade with President of Serbia Aleksandar Vučić. At the official reception ceremony for President El-Sisi, the two national anthems were played and the guards of honor were reviewed.

President El-Sisi valued the strong, extended and outstanding relations between Egypt and Serbia, particularly at the level of the Non-Aligned Movement. The President also expressed Egypt’s mutual interest to further strengthen and upgrade these relations in various fields, as well as to continue coordination and political consultation between the two countries and explore aspects of bilateral cooperation.
The meeting discussed fostering closer relations at various levels. The President of Serbia commended on the remarkable development in Egypt over the past years, stressing his country's aspiration to boost mutual investments in many sectors and increase the volume of trade between the two friendly countries. This shall create a qualitative leap in Egyptian-Serbian economic relations, especially through the participation of Serbian companies in the implementation of mega national projects in Egypt.
President El-Sisi welcomed strengthening cooperation with Serbia in various areas, particularly military, economic, commercial and tourism cooperation, to be commensurate with the alignment of visions between the two countries with regard to regional and international developments, particularly with the state of instability witnessed at the international arena. This requires finding joint action by countries with similar orientations, particularly in the areas of energy, security and regional security.
The talks also discussed various developments in regional and international issues of common interest. The Ukrainian crisis and its repercussions on the global economy were focused on during the meeting, as well as the situations in Yemen, Syria and Libya. President El Sisi Receives an Honorary Doctorate
During the President’s visit to the capital Belgrade, he received an honorary doctorate by the University of Belgrade, which is one of the most prestigious educational institutions in Serbia. The University awarded the President the honorary doctorate for his development efforts in Egypt, and for spreading the thought and culture of peace, cooperation and construction regionally and internationally.
The Spokesman for the Presidency said the President of the University of Belgrade, the Minister of Education, Science and Technological Developments and members of the University Council expressed pride in President El-Sisi’s visit to the university. They stressed that the decision to grant President El-Sisi an honorary doctorate degree is an appreciation of his role in leading Egypt through a tense period of instability into a new stage of development and construction, by launching radical structural reforms at the national level in the economic and social fields. This is in addition to the mega national projects launched by President El-Sisi in various sectors, and which contributed significantly to improving the services provided to the Egyptian citizens and redrawing the development map of Egypt.
University officials also valued the president’s efforts to improve Egyptian education, particularly by maximizing spending on basic education and raising the level of higher education through a series of fundamental reform projects. Those included the establishment of a number of technological and technical universities and the development of curricula, to keep pace with the latest international standards to respond to the needs of the labor market.
University officials underscored the President’s effective and tangible role in promoting bilateral relations between Egypt and Serbia, particularly at the academic and cultural levels. They noted that this comes as a continuation of the historical relations between the two countries within the framework of the Non-Aligned Movement. They also lauded the President’s focus on the economic dimension by encouraging investments and launching the Egyptian-Serbian Business Forum and the Egyptian- Serbian Joint Business Council.
The University valued the President’s active contributions to enhancing peace and cooperation at the regional and international levels, as well as his leading efforts toward combating the phenomena of terrorism and illegal migration. The University also valued the President’s tireless efforts at the level of combating climate change, which were culminated by Egypt’s hosting of the World Summit on Climate in November in Sharm El Sheikh.
President El-Sisi valued this honoring, considering that it is not directed to himself, but to the entire Egyptian people as major partners in the accomplishments achieved recently in Egypt across various levels. The President delivered a speech on this occasion, focusing on the overall relations between the two countries and prospects for boosting them. President El-Sisi’s Visit to France
On Friday, July 22, 2022, President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi paid an official visit to the French capital, Paris, upon an invitation by French President Emmanuel Macron.
The Spokesman for the Presidency said the visit will include holding summit talks between the two Presidents, focusing on dossiers pertinent to bilateral relations and ways to further strengthen cooperation across all levels. The meeting is also set to tackle issues on the regional and international arenas.

The Spokesman for the Presidency said during the summit talks, President Macron welcomed President El-Sisi's visit to Paris and affirmed France's appreciation for Egypt at both the official and popular levels. He stressed that France holds in high esteem the historical bonds that unite the two friendly countries. The French President reiterated his country's commitment to enhancing bilateral relations in various fields in a constructive and positive manner, lauding in this regard President El-Sisi’s efforts to maintain regional peace and security.
President El-Sisi confirmed Egypt’s keenness on strengthening and further advancing the long-standing strategic partnership with the French Republic, which represents a fundamental pillar for maintaining security and stability in the Middle East, the Eastern Mediterranean and Africa. The President looked forward to bolstering coordination and consultations with the French side in the coming period on various political, security and economic issues of mutual interest.
The meeting also discussed a number of regional files, particularly the developments in the Palestinian issue and ways to revive the peace process. The President of France expressed his country's profound appreciation for Egypt’s efforts, either between the Palestinians and the Israelis or among the Palestinians, including efforts toward the reconstruction of Gaza. President Macron looked forward to continuing consultations with Egypt in this regard.
