This came during Fouad’s meeting with Senegalese Minister of Environment and Sustainable Development Abdou Karim Sall to discuss means to rally a distinguished African participation in COP 27 due to be held in Sharm el Sheikh in November.

Fouad expressed happiness over the awesome organization of the 18th round of the conference of African environment ministers, adding that it is an important step to unify the African visions ahead of presenting them during COP 27.

Egypt is exerting strenuous efforts to gear up for COP27 to render the event successful at different levels, Fouad said.

Egypt is keen on standing on all African opinions, visions and aspirations to be put into consideration, she added.

Meanwhile, Sall lauded the Egyptian efforts being exerted to prepare for COP 27, asserting his country’s support to the event at the highest level.
