COP27 President and Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry said countries participating at the United Nations climate conference have sincere desire to reach a fair deal on climate action.

Speaking on the sidelines of the COP27, currently hosted by Sharm El Sheikh, he urged all parties to reach an agreement on the most important and critical points and have a common ground for addressing climate-related issues and countering negative impacts of climate changes.

The participants drew up drafts on several issues to go ahead with reaching the desired agreements, he said.

All parties bear responsibility to reach mutual consensus and draft a final communiqué, he reiterated.
