- Achieving a social return by providing direct and indirect job opportunities for the people of the country.

- Achieving an appropriate economic return for the invested funds.

Components of the complex

The complex consists of 5 main sectors with a total of 9 factories and industrial facilities, in addition to the residential city, a seawater desalination plant and a specialized pier for the export of liquid and solid fertilizers.

First Sector

It includes (2) plants for the production of concentrated sulfuric acid with a capacity of (1.25) million tons / year, and (2) steam turbines for self-generation electricity with a capacity of 46 megawatt hours.

Second Sector

It includes two  factories for the production of commercial phosphoric acid with a total capacity of (800) thousand tons / year, two factories for the production of pure phosphoric acid, which is produced for the first time in Egypt with an annual capacity of (150) thousand tons, and a fluorosylsk acid processing unit with a capacity of (600) tons / day.

Third Sector

The third sector includes a factory for the production of fully soluble crystalline Dab and Mab fertilizer, which is produced for the first time in Egypt with a capacity of (100) thousand tons / year.

Fourth Sector

The fourth sector contains a granulated diammonium phosphate fertilizer plant (DAB) with a capacity of (400) thousand tons per year, and a tri-superphosphate granulated fertilizer plant with an annual capacity of (250) thousand tons, and about (55) civil companies working in this field participated in the construction, installation and construction work, and the national company Enppi was the project consultant.
