Minister of Health and Population Khaled Abdel Ghaffar said Saturday 26/11/2022 that President Abdel Fattah El Sisi is periodically monitoring the comprehensive health insurance system and had ordered to overcome all obstacles as he believes that all citizens should have access to health services regardless of their financial status.

The comprehensive health insurance system was a dream in a country with a population of more than 100 million in 27 governorates, the minister told the third annual meeting of the Public Authority for Healthcare, held at Luxor's Karnak Temple.

The system will be implemented nationwide in a very short time, the minister said.
