Al Azhar pharmacy students visit AF Chemical Warfare Department labs

The Egyptian Armed Forces' Chemical Warfare Department has organized a visit to its main labs for a student delegation from Al Azhar University's Faculty of Pharmacy for Girls.

The visit was arranged in light of the Armed Forces' keen interest in bolstering cooperation and sharing expertise with educational and scientific research institutions, the Armed Forces said in a statement Saturday 10/12/2022.

The students have been acquainted with the labs' capabilities and state-of--the-art systems used for chemical and biological analyses and radioactive measurements.

Addressing the students, Director of the Chemical Warfare Department Staff Maj. Gen. Abdel Hamid Sayed Ahmed asserted the commitment of the Armed Forces' General Command to support all modernization and advancement efforts at the department labs, to catch up with global developments.

He conveyed to them the greetings of Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Minister of Defense and Military Production Gen. Mohamed Zaki and Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces Lt. Gen. Osama Askar.

President of Al Azhar University Salama Dawoud thanked the Armed Forces for organizing the visit, hailing the advanced capabilities and equipment used at the labs.
