Assistant Foreign Minister for Consular Affairs Abroad Ismail Khairat met Saturday 28/01/2023 with a delegation of the General Union of Egyptians Abroad.

The meeting tackled problems facing Egyptians in Europe, as well as their proposals on ways to deal with these issues to achieve the interests of the Egyptian community and enhance their participation in national development efforts.

The representatives praised the pivotal role played by the Foreign Ministry through the consular sector and diplomatic missions abroad.

They also reviewed the General Union of Egyptians Abroad's efforts to support expatriates and sensitize them to national initiatives through its affiliated entities, in coordination with the Egyptian diplomatic missions.
