Egypt’s President Abdel Fattah al Sisi dispatched on Tuesday 31/1/2023 General Intelligence Chief Major General Abbas Kamel to Ramallah to convey a message to Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas.

President Sisi message confirmed Egypt's support for the Palestinian cause, in order to achieve security and stability.

Palestinian news agency WAFA reported that president Mahmoud Abbas received, at the presidential residence in Ramallah, head of the Egyptian intelligence service, Abbas Kamel, and the head of the Jordanian intelligence service, Ahmed Hosni.

Both officials conveyed a message of support and solidarity to the Palestinian leadership, affirming their support and concern for security and stability in the region.

For his part, Abbas stressed the importance of continuing coordination with the Egyptian and Jordanian sides, and thanked them for the efforts made by Egypt and Jordan to support the Palestinian people and their just cause.
