The Armed Forces organized on Sunday a visit by a parliamentary delegation to one of Egypt's air bases.

The delegation includes members and head of the House of Representatives' Defense and National security Committee and some heads of other parliamentary committees.

The visit comes as part of the Armed Forces Command's keenness on maintaining contacts with the Defense and National Security Committee to brief them on army efforts to develop capabilities of different branches.

The delegation watched a documentary on the missions of air forces and their role in protecting the country's national security.

The head of the Defense and National Security Committee expressed happiness over the honorable performance of the air forces and their combat capabilities.
