Health and Population Minister Khaled Abdel Ghaffar discussed with Qatar's Minister of Public Health Hanan Mohamed al Kuwari ways of exchanging expertise in initiatives related to the public health and crisis and pandemics management.

The meeting was held on the sidelines of the inauguration of the Middle East Forum on Quality and Safety in Healthcare, which is being held in Qatar from March 16 to March 19.

During the meeting, which was attended by Egypt's Ambassador to Qatar Amr el Sherbini, Abdel Ghaffar cast a spotlight on Egypt's outstanding achievements in the spheres of public health and crisis and pandemics management.

The two ministers also exchanged experiences in telemedicine sphere and the latest adopted methods in this respect, said Health and Population Health Ministry Hossam Abdel Ghaffar.

The Qatari minister also reviewed Qatar's successful experiments in hospital management, according to the spokesman.
