Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research Ayman Ashour said Saturday 25/03/2023 that 13 Egyptian universities have been listed in the 2023 Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) Rankings For the best 1500 universities worldwide.

The enlisted universities included Cairo University, the American University in Cairo, Ain Shams University, Alexandria University, Azhar University, Assiut University, Mansoura University, Zagazig University, Beni Suef University, Helwan University, Tanta University, Suez Canal University and the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport.

Spokesman for the Higher Education and Scientific Research Ministry Adel Abdel Ghaffar lauded the listing of the Egyptian universities in the global rankings which is based on good academic reputation, academic research and the number of international professors and foreign students, among others.
