The 11th meeting of Egypt's National Dialogue

The Board of Trustees of the National Dialogue held its eleventh meeting on Monday, October 17, 2022, at the headquarters of the National Training Academy. This is in implementation of its decision in its penultimate meeting to remain in a state of permanent session to complete the preparatory meetings for the actual start of the discussion sessions of the national dialogue and to review the names nominated to participate in the sessions of the national dialogue and discuss the agendas of the next period of the dialogue.
The meeting began with the National Dialogue Board of Trustees thanking President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic, for the tireless efforts made in the presidential pardon file and the successive releases during the last period.
During the meeting, the Board of Trustees of the National Dialogue reviewed the names nominated to participate in the dialogue sessions from various parties, members of the Board of Trustees, rapporteurs and assistant rapporteurs of the National Dialogue Committees, political parties, civil society and NGOs, the political and intellectual elite, public and human rights figures, trade unions, research centers and universities, and other various entities.
The Council also reviewed the work plans it received with respect to the political, economic and societal axes, in addition to the related proposals.
The Board of Trustees decided to work on finishing the agendas according to the action plans submitted by the three national dialogue axes, namely: the political, economic and societal ones, within the permanent session of the Council announced by the penultimate meeting.
