Minister of Tourism and Antiquities Ahmed Issa said in a meeting with China's Vice Minister of Culture and Tourism Mr. Li Qun, and his accompanying delegation that tourism plays a big role in enhancing rapprochement and cordiality among peoples of the world, voicing his aspiration over increasing tourism movement from the Chinese market, and stressing the depth of bilateral relations between the two countries. 

Issa emphasized to Li Qun that China represents one of the most promising markets for tourism to Egypt, as the Egyptian economy relies on the tourism sector as a key source of hard currency.

The Chinese delegation, comprising 22 tourism organisers as well as members of the China Tourism Association, is currently in Egypt to boost cooperation between the two countries.
