President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi made a phone call on Friday 2/6/2023 with the Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani. The two sides discussed ways to enhance bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries in various fields, in addition to reviewing the latest developments in the regional and international situations, especially in Sudan.

President Abdel Fattah El Sisi and Qatar's Emir Sheikh Tamim ben Hamad Al Thani agreed to launch a joint initiative to support the Sudanese people, through providing humanitarian assistance and relief aid for them.

The spokesman for the Presidency, Ahmed Fahmy, said that the two leaders stressed that the current crisis affects our Sudanese brothers, especially the refugees. The Spokesman added that the concerned authorities in the two countries undertake to develop the relevant executive frameworks and mechanisms.
