The relations between Egypt and France witnessed during nine years a great development since President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi took over the reins of power in 2014, based on a common political will and keenness of the leaderships of the two countries to strengthen relations.

Egypt manages its foreign relations, regionally and internationally, with firm and stable constants, based on mutual respect, deference to peace, and upholding the rules of international law, and these are the determinants of foreign policy that President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi emphasized.

In this context, the ties between Cairo and Paris witnessed a great leap that has been achieved over the past nine years in all fields, based on the centrality and importance of these relations and the mutual desire to further advance the horizons of bilateral cooperation, especially in the strategic, economic and cultural fields, and to continue joint coordination on all issues, regional and international files of common interest.
