The periodical monitors, documents and evaluates Egypt’s human rights achievements primarily within the context of the target results of National Human Rights Strategy. The Strategy was launched by his Excellency President Abdel Fattah El Sisi on the 11th of September 2021 as one of the corner stones of the New Republic.

A New Republic that enhances the quality of life of all Egyptian citizens and develops their awareness and ability to enjoy their constitutionally guaranteed rights and freedoms. 

This edition covers national measures undertaken to promote and protect a variety of rights including the right to health, the right to social security, the right to work and the right to public participation. Moreover, it covers the launch of the national dialogue and how it positively impacts the human rights situation in Egypt.

The methodology of this periodical classifies national efforts and measures according to the designated rights coined by the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights, and the International Covenant on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights, as well as the National Human Rights Strategy in its capacity as the national action plan that seeks to promote the rights and basic freedoms of all citizens.
