Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouli asserted the state's keenness to deepen the industry of the local product and encourage and empower the private sector, pointing out that the Egyptian market is “huge” and encourages pumping investments in the state.

This came on Saturday 18/11/2023 during Madbouli’s inspection to the Italian factory of Mapei during a tour in 10th of Ramadan City.

Madbouli listened to an explanation on the company from Regional Area Manager Middle East & East Africa at Mapei Andrea Perini.

The company is an international pioneer in the field of manufacturing adhesives and chemical products in the field of building and construction, Perini said.

Concerning the factory of the company in Egypt, there is a 28,000-meter-area factory being established on two stages with investments of 25 million dollars, he said, asserting that the first stage of the factory was finished.

Perini asserted that the factory employed 100 workers, asserting that the production capacity of the factory is 100 tons annually.

At the end of the inspection, Madbouli necessitated continuous contact between the factory and the cabinet in case of having any hindrances or challenges facing the business or the operation process.
