Cabinet Media Center published, 3-1-2024, a report that included infographics entitled “Citizenship and national unity dreams becomes a reality for Egyptians thanks to the June 30 state.”

The report highlighted the vision of international institutions and foreign media regarding the citizenship file in Egypt, as Al-Monitor reported in 2022 that President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi issued a decision to appoint a Christian judge as head of the Supreme Constitutional Court for the first time in a step described as historic.

This comes as, in 2023, the Open Doors International Foundation indicated President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi’s interest in speaking regularly and positively about Christians in Egypt and continuing his efforts to create a single Egyptian identity that includes Muslims and Christians, noting that this international organization, which was established in 1955, is concerned with defending the rights of Christians all over the world who face persecution and discrimination.
