The joint Egyptian-British training exercise on combating terrorism kicked off with the participation of elements from the Egyptian Thunderbolt and Paratroopers Forces and elements from the British Special Forces.

The exercise will continue for several days at the combat training fields of the Thunderbolt Forces Command in Egypt.

The training started with lining up for the troops and a review of the weapons and equipment used for training purposes.

It is planned to implement a number of training activities aimed at unifying concepts, exchanging and gaining experiences, and honing the skills of the participating forces from both sides.

This exercise comes within the framework of the joint training plan of the armed forces with friendly countries to exchange experiences and enhance aspects of military cooperation.
