El Sisi was received by Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouli, Defense Minister Mohamed Ahmed Zaki, Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry, Electricity Minister Mohamed Shaker and a number of ministers, statesmen and foreign investors.

Haier is the first factory to get the golden license and it was built in a year and a half.

The complex aims at exporting many products to a number of Arab, African and European countries.

Activities

The celebration started by verses of the Holy Quran and was attended by Parliament Speaker Hanafy Gebaly, Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouli, Defense Minister Mohamed Ahmed Zaki, Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry, Electricity Minister Mohamed Shaker and a number of ministers, statesmen and foreign investors.

El Sisi witnessed, via video conference, a presentation for four models of projects supported by "Ebda" initiative. 

El Sisi witnessed via video-conference a ceremony marking the production of the first Egyptian engine at the gasoline engines factory for light Transportation.

Labor Minister Hassan Shehata addressed the celebration, reaffirming Egyptian workers’ backing for President Abdel Fattah El Sisi to complete building of the New Republic.

He directed to continue proceeding ahead with implementing directives of President Sisi to promote labour values, establish social dialogue principles and create good environment for work based on balanced rights and duties to increase production under the New Republic.

The minister asserted that the Labour Ministry turned president Sisi’s directives into action during the past years, through developing relevant labor regulations to create employment stability and encourage investment.

Shehata pointed out that the Labour Ministry played an important role on cutting unemployment rates in coordination with all state-run bodies nationwide.

He added that the ministry also coordinated with private sector companies to help create further job opportunities.

He pointed out that the ministry also enforced the directives of the president to offer proper jobs for people with special needs.

The minister said that the ministry also launched the 2030 vocational training project to qualify youths to meet the necessary requirements of the labor market.

The Executive Director of the Fantasia Factory for Manufacturing Sponge and Hotel Furniture explained that the factory has become able to increase production lines for product-feeding industries, export 30% of them.

Chairman of the Egyptian Trade Union Federation (ETUF) Mohamed Gobran reiterated that Egypt workers side with the political leadership in supporting the Palestinians' right to have a state of their own 

Meanwhile, the vice chairman of Haier company said that the golden license and the one stop shop service granted by Egypt to the company contributed to inaugurating the complex in one year only.

President Abdel Fattah El Sisi honored a number of senior syndicate members and Egyptian labor during the celebration at Haier Egypt complex in the 10th of Ramadan city. 

Addressing the Labor Day ceremony, President Abdel Fattah El Sisi asserted state's keenness on preserving the rights of workers.

El Sisi affirmed appreciation for Egyptian laborer's who have exerted sustained effort to rebuild the state's infrastructure, reaffirming the State’s commitment to preserving rights of workers.

President Abdel Fattah El Sisi also directed to allocate EGP5 billion for the emergency support fund of irregular workers.
