Media Activities of the State Information Service on the Anniversary of the 30 June Revolution

Journalist Diaa Rashwan, Chairman of the State Information Service (SIS), issued his directives to the Internal Media Sector of SIS to carry out media and community activities through its media centers and complexes in all governorates of the Republic on the occasion of the 11th  anniversary of the 30 June Revolution that took place in Egypt on 30 June 2013, and to take advantage of this occasion to spread awareness, enhance the values ​​of belonging to the homeland, and the cohesion of all segments of the people in facing the challenges confronting our country, as well as to remind of the ability of Egypt, its leadership and people to face all difficulties when the will of the nation unites on a national goal that includes everyone.

For his part, Dr. Ahmed Yehia Magli, Head of the Internal Media Sector at the State Information Service (SIS), stated that preparations have been completed to implement dozens of activities in 27 governorates across Egypt, in a way that allows all segments of society to participate, including all ages and educational and social levels, pointing out that these activities include giving lectures, holding seminars and conferences, workshops, in addition to organizing competitions, showing documentary films and various artistic segments and film materials to remind the new generations of the meaning and dimensions of the 30 June Revolution, which saved Egypt from the clutches of a deviant group that tried to control the nation's capabilities and tamper with its national identity that has been firmly established throughout history. The activities also include granting awards and certificates of appreciation to those with distinguished efforts in serving local communities in the governorates.

Dr. Ahmed Yehia Magli, Head of the Internal Media Sector at the State Information Service (SIS), added that these activities will be attended by university professors, academic figures, and symbols of local communities in all governorates, and are carried out in cooperation and with the direct participation of the various ministries and state agencies in each governorate.
