Under the auspices of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli attended on Tuesday 17/09/2024, the official launch of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi's initiative “Bedaya – A New Beginning for Human Building” in Al Shaab Square at the New Administrative Capital.

The celebration witnessed the presence of Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Deputy Prime Minister for Human Development, Minister of Health and Population, Lieutenant General Engineer/ Kamel El-Wazir, Deputy Prime Minister for Industrial Development, Minister of Industry and Transport, a large number of ministers, members of the House of Representatives, ambassadors of a number of countries in Cairo, a number of editors-in-chief of Egyptian newspapers, a group of prominent figures and media professionals, and a number of officials from some of the state's agencies and concerned authorities.

Initiative objectives

The presidential initiative “A New Beginning for Human Building” aims to provide the Egyptian citizen with a path towards self-development, as well as health, educational, sports, cultural, and behavioural development.

During the celebration, the Prime Minister and the attendees watched a documentary film about the initiative, which targets the Egyptian people and supports the Egyptian identity. The film reviewed the goals of the initiative and the procedures of its implementation, including the state's efforts in the field of human development in general, where the necessity of the participation of various state agencies to contribute to the success of this initiative was emphasized.

The Prime Minister and the attendees also reviewed a lineup of several cars through which the initiative's services will be provided to all citizens across the republic.

Development Axes

Regarding the development axes within the framework of the presidential initiative “A New Beginning for Human Building,” it was noted that it includes the education axis, which includes developing educational curricula, as well as the health axis, which works on improving health services by launching awareness campaigns, health programs, and medical convoys covering all governorates of the Republic. in addition to the employment axis, which aims to create new job opportunities, and provide more training programs to develop skills in a way that suits the needs of the labor market.

The Prime Minister began his speech by extending his sincere congratulations and thanks to His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic, and the great Egyptian people, on the occasion of launching the presidential initiative for human development "A New Beginning for Human Building".

During his speech, Dr. Mostafa Madbouli pointed out that this initiative embodies the state's interest in the human element, and it also announces the start of a new social contract that highlights the state's investments in the field of human development. It also highlights more services and the way they are provided to citizens through the cooperation of various government authorities all together and in an integrated manner, which will contribute to lifting the economic and social burden off citizens.

During his speech, Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar was keen to thank President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic, for his great and unlimited support for the National Human Development Project and the "New Beginning for Human Building " initiative, which reflects the vision of the political leadership in Egypt towards building an advanced and integrated society.

Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar stressed that the National Human Development Project, which is being launched today according to the directives of President El-Sisi and under the patronage of His Excellency, aims to intensify the work of government agencies and partner agencies in order to improve human development indicators and restore the true Egyptian character.
