Rania El Mashat, Minister of Planning, Economic Development and International Cooperation and Chairperson of the Board of Trustees of the National Institute for Governance and Sustainable Development asserted the ministry announced a framework aiming to achieve sustainable, economic growth.

The ministry has developed a comprehensive strategy for economic development, she said.

The minister added the strategy is based on policies backed by required data to bridge any development gaps in the different sectors and collect local and foreign funds to attain sustainable development.

Mashat was speaking at a meeting with some leaders of the institute and its affiliated centers and units on Friday 18/10/2024.

She also inspected the National Center for Spatial Information Infrastructure.
