On the occasion of the International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People, I confirm my full support for the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people, at the forefront their right to establish an independent state along the June 4, 1967 borders with East Jerusalem as its capital. The Palestinian issue will remain at the top of our priorities, stemming from our conviction that it is a just cause and the right of the Palestinian people to independence, freedom, and dignity.
