The Cairo Ministerial Conference to Enhance Humanitarian Response in Gaza is held today, December 2, 2024, under the auspices of President El-Sisi and in the presence of Dr. Badr Abdelatty, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Emigration and Egyptian Expatriates, and Ms. Amina Mohammed, Deputy Secretary-General of the United Nations, with the participation of 103 delegations of states, international organizations,  and financial institutions. 

The conference is held as part of Egypt's efforts aimed at supporting the humanitarian response in Gaza and addressing the humanitarian disaster endured by the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip.


The conference aims to secure clear commitments to provide aid to Gaza, enhance international support to ensure the sustainability of the response to the humanitarian crisis in Gaza, mobilize efforts to provide urgent humanitarian aid to the population of Gaza, and plan for early recovery within the Strip.
